We stopped in Mount Olive, NC. At first, it didn’t hit us what Mt Olive was famous for since we don’t really care for that brand. But they are famous for pickles, and we stayed a few blocks down from the plant at a friendly brewery called RR Brewing.

Ok back to our regularly scheduled blog post. R&R Brewing - We got there a bit early, but James, who was the bartender that night, let us park early and even ran us a 15amp cord, which was super helpful for us. We are still trying to work out the kinks with Abby and get more batteries for nights like this. James even let us come into the bar before opening, and we sat and BS’ed with him. Turns out James is a photographer and was getting a converted IR camera to mess around with. Well, this gave us tons to talk about, lol. Check out James on IG here. or his site here

We met a bunch of friendly people sitting at the bar and out on the patio later in the evening, had a great brisket nacho thing from the food truck that was there. For my life, I forgot the name and was enjoying the partaking of the brews that I didn’t think to write it down either.
We chatted with Ryan, the owner, for a while out on the patio after playing some rigged music bingo, lol. I didn’t know 90% of the songs, but we had fun.
The atmosphere was relaxed, and it was like hanging out with family; I would highly recommend if you are going through the area to stop by and say hi, stay the night grab a brew… I leaned toward the stouts (in winter) but had an excellent lager that night as well. Again can’t remember the name. Tracey had something sour; I think she mixed some stuff that night. We really got to remember to write this stuff down, lol. But you get to drinking and just forget. Anyway, go try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Tracey grabbed this shot of the bar. I feel shame for not getting more images but I was drinking, lol
